The RFX Pro Series F8 Taper handlebars are designed and tested at the highest level.

The F8 frames are made from 7075-T6 aluminum and feature an Oversize Taper Extension (OTE) to provide maximum strength and impact resistance, while Engineered Flex Technology (EFT) and Progressive Damping Control (PDC) help provide just the right amount of flex and reduce machine vibration to combat rider fatigue.

The F8 Taper Bar design also features an original type of crossbar extension, which gives the handlebar a slightly stiffer feel compared to the F7 design and is the preferred choice of some expert and professional racers.

The OTE is an extension of the central oversize (28.6mm) section. Extending the oversize section to run past the end bend of the handlebar adds significant strength to the weakest part of any handlebar, and combined with a 5mm wall thickness that remains constant even on the outside of the bends, the F8 Taper Bar is one of the lightest yet strongest handlebars on the market.

The EFT is designed to provide a small amount of flex to the handlebar. A carefully selected 5mm inner wall thickness across the rise and bevel area of the handlebar helps reduce the effects of vibration on big hits, while providing the rider with maximum front end feel in corners. The F8 handlebar has a slightly stiffer feel than the F7 thanks to the integrated cross brace.

The PDC is created using a thicker 5.3mm wall thickness in the handlebar grip area, which is calculated to balance and dampen the effects of handlebar vibration. This is a similar principle to the handlebar weights used in sport bikes, but is specifically designed and tested to match the range of vibrations produced by today's high-performance 4-stroke motocross bikes.
