The Shield MK2 represents Knox's ultimate in protective denim, boasting a high level of protection rated AAA. These single-layer stretch jeans use innovative UHMWPE fibres to provide a level of protection typically found in leather racing suits, all in a classic slim fit for superior style both on and off the bike.
Main technical characteristics:
UHMWPE Fiber: Made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, which is 15 times stronger than steel and 40% stronger than aramid. It is extremely lightweight, durable, and naturally wicks heat away from the body.
CE Class AAA Certified: Meets EN17092-2:2020 standard, providing the highest possible level of safety in a breathable, single-layer construction.
Micro-Lock Compact Armour: Comes standard with level 2 knee and level 1 thigh protectors. Invisible external zip pockets allow for quick removal of the knee protectors once you get off the bike.
Thermoregulation and hygiene: The material effectively repels moisture and is hypoallergenic, ensuring that the skin remains free of irritation and cool during intense riding.
