• Designed for maximum performance on both the track and the road, the lightweight S-R7 helmet combines cutting-edge carbon composite construction with Alpinestars patented technologies. Its advanced aerodynamics, optimized airflow and precision-engineered EPS liner ensure superior protection and comfort for all-day riding.
• Certified to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, the S-R7 helmet features an advanced multi-composite shell construction utilizing prepreg epoxy resin for maximum strength and performance.
• Layers of carbon, aramid fiber and glass wool provide lightness and at the same time exceptional protection with excellent energy dissipation, radial strength and puncture resistance.
• The aerodynamic design includes clavicle grooves on both sides, equipped with two PLASMA inserts designed to provide highly effective shock absorption and reduce the risk of sliding injuries.
• Designed for exceptional visibility, the S-R7 offers 220° peripheral vision and 57° vertical vision, enhanced by an optimized eye opening and head position.
• The inner shell features a multi-density EPS liner consisting of seven sections with six different densities strategically placed for optimal impact absorption. The EPS liner is designed with unique dimensions specific to each helmet size, matching the three different sizes of the outer shell.
• The EPS surface is smooth and covered with Alpinestars’ patented coating, developed to provide proven protection against rotational impacts. This low-friction surface is designed to mimic the brain’s natural cerebrospinal fluid—the body’s innate defense against oblique impacts. By reducing the rotational acceleration of the brain within the skull during an impact, this technology helps reduce the risk of concussion and other brain injuries. • The helmet is equipped with an ECE 22.06 homologated optical class 1 visor, with a double-sided anti-scratch coating. The thickness of the visor varies from 1.6 mm at the edges to 2.6 mm in the center. It includes pins for attaching a Pinlock® 120XLT 100% Max Vision lens.
• The visor can be quickly replaced or removed via a secure, tool-free quick-release system that allows rotation around an axis to ensure full adhesion to the helmet's rubber lining.
• • A-HEAD FIT SYSTEM• The S-R7 features Alpinestars’ unique and patented A-Head fit system, which allows riders to precisely adjust both the height and angle at which the helmet sits on the head. A micro-adjustable pad, connected to the helmet’s internal EPS liner, allows for extremely precise adjustment that adapts to the depth at which the rider’s head fits into the helmet and the degree of forward or backward tilt, providing the ultimate in personalized fit.

• • The S-R7 helmet is designed for seamless integration with the Alpinestars A-Connect communication system (sold separately), providing advanced communication — including Mesh 3.0 intercom — along with premium sound quality delivered by Harman Kardon high-definition speakers and advanced noise cancellation.

• • The S-R7 helmet in size M (medium) weighs 1,390 grams / 3.06 pounds, giving the S-R7 an extremely high performance, protection and weight ratio.
• • The S-R7 helmet provides extremely low aerodynamic drag and exceptional stability at high speeds, reducing neck strain.
• • Its aerodynamically optimized shell features an integrated spoiler designed to minimize turbulence and aerodynamic drag, while side wings further improve stability and reduce drag.

• • The S-R7 helmet is optimized for airflow with a total of 10 ventilation holes: 6 inlet holes (3 in the chin guard and 3 on the top of the head), adjustable via a sliding top ventilation mechanism, plus 4 outlet holes (2 side holes on the chin guard and 2 on the back of the helmet).• The air intake from the chin vents is directed to the inside of the visor, effectively preventing fogging and steaming.
• • The entire upper ventilation section is sliding, allowing riders to open three air channels for maximum airflow and cooling.
• • The chin vents are designed to effectively remove humid air from the inside of the helmet.
