Following the highly successful and iconic Tech 10 and Tech 7 models, the new Tech 5 is an advanced shoe with a multi-material and multi-panel construction,

which further enhances the Alpinestars line of class-leading motocross and off-road footwear.

Construction:

The upper is made of innovative abrasion-resistant microfiber with a synthetic polymer in the toe area.

The microfiber base material offers high levels of water resistance, durability and improved weight reduction.

The material provides a consistent fit for long-term use and is easy to maintain and clean.

- Redesigned lower leg and Achilles flex zones made from lightweight microfiber for greater comfort, control and support.

- The contoured structure of the advanced polymer core wraps the upper of the shoe for structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing excellent levels of controlled flexibility.

- Anatomically profiled polymer lower leg plate with high modulus for greater impact and wear resistance. The contoured lower leg plate allows for a greater range of fit and features an adjustable Velcro® panel for a customized and secure closure.

Features:

- The buckle system features a memory and quick release/lock system with a self-adjusting design for easy and precise closure and improved riding performance and security. All buckles are easily replaceable. - TPU buckle straps are ergonomically profiled to encourage high levels of forward flexion.

- Innovative one-piece double compound injected TPU foot shell with excellent impact and abrasion resistance and unmatched safety levels.

- The exclusive dual-compound outsole is seamlessly integrated to the multi-density footbed structure with built-in support.

- Soft polyurethane foam surrounding the ankles and collar offers shock absorption, plus a full interior textile lining for comfort.

- Replaceable anatomical EVA insole with textile lining on top.
