RFX Pro Series oil filter covers are manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum for increased dimensional stability under high temperature and pressure conditions.

RFX filter covers also feature an increased flow design for better oil circulation.

Installation instructions

Drain your oil according to the user manual.

Carefully remove the old filter cover, being careful not to damage the sealing surface of the crankcase.

Remove the cleaned O-ring and place it on the new filter cover.

If you are replacing your oil filter, remove it and any springs holding it in place, and discard the filter.

Clean the inside of the filter opening and inspect it for any damage. Metal shavings can be a sign of severe engine wear.

Take your new oil filter and soak it in the new engine oil.

Install your new oil filter, the original spring, and the new filter cover.

Top up the oil again according to the instruction manual.
