RFX Race Series starter buttons are an exact OE replacement part. They feature the same connectors, fasteners, connectors and exact cable lengths as the original part.

Installation instructions:

• Start by removing the front license plate.
• Carefully cut the cable ties that hold the start and stop switch cables to the grilles, then unscrew the clamps and let them hang down.
• Locate the clutch for the motorcycle's shifter, which is often located near the chassis hub, but can sometimes be under the tank.
• Disconnect the connector and remove the switch, paying attention to the routing of the cables.
• Clean the connector using a contact cleaner, such as Maxima Electrical Contact Cleaner.
• Loosely secure the new handlebar switch in the desired position.
• Route the cables as with the old switch and connect the connector.
• Check for any looseness in the wires by turning the handlebars to full extension and making sure the wires are not stretched, adjust if necessary.
• If possible, re-install cable ties to the wires, placing them at the back of the grilles to prevent damage from loops.
• Reinstall the license plate.
