The RFX Pro Series F8 tapered bars are designed and tested at the highest level.

The F8 tapered bars are manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum and feature an Oversize Taper Extension (OTE) to provide maximum strength and crash resistance, while Engineered Flex Technology (EFT) and Progressive Damping Control (PDC) help provide just the right amount of flex and reduce machine vibration to combat rider fatigue.

The F8 Taper Bar design also features a unique crossbar design that provides a slightly stiffer handlebar feel than the F7 design and is the preferred choice of some expert and professional racers.

OTE is an extension of the oversized center section (28.6mm). The addition of the oversized section that runs through the last bend of the handlebar adds significant strength to the weakest part of any handlebar, and this, combined with a 5mm wall thickness that remains constant even on the outside of the bends, makes the F8 tapered handlebar one of the lightest yet strongest handlebars on the market.

EFT is designed to provide low flex in the bars. The careful selection of a 5mm inner wall thickness across the rise and taper of the bars helps to reduce the effect of shocks on big hits, while providing the rider with maximum front end feel in corners. Thanks to the integrated cross brace, the F8 bars are slightly stiffer than the F7.

The PDC is created using a thicker 5.3mm wall thickness in the handlebar grip area, which is designed to balance and dampen handlebar vibrations. This is a similar principle to the handlebar weights used on sport bikes, but is specifically designed and tested to match the vibrations created by today's high-performance four-stroke motocross bikes.
