  • Unidirectional carbon composite layer that provides significantly greater radial strength around the shell, preventing compression but allowing controlled deflection to reduce transmitted impact energy
  • A layer of aramid fibers that provides protection against critical penetration
  • This combination of layers has even better characteristics thanks to the epoxy resin bonding, which provides the best possible strength and energy management; the limited deflection of the outer shell means that energy is spread more widely and absorbed better than the 4-density EPS shell.
